1.1 Acceptance of Terms

By using the services offered by Universal Lavanderia ("we," "us," or "our"), including self-service laundry machines, drop-off wash and fold, dry cleaning, and any related services, you ("customer," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1.2 Services Offered

Universal Lavanderia provides the following services:

• Self-Service Laundry: Use of coin or card-operated washers and dryers on our premises.
• Drop-Off Wash & Fold: You leave your laundry with us; we wash, dry, and fold it for pickup.
• Dry Cleaning: Professional cleaning of delicate or special garments.
• Specialty Items: Cleaning of comforters, bedding, and other oversized items.

1.3 Customer Responsibilities

• Customers are responsible for removing all personal items from pockets and garments before drop-off.
• Customers must disclose any known stains, special care instructions, or delicate materials at the time of drop-off.
• Unclaimed drop-off orders held for more than 30 days may be donated to charity.
• Universal Lavanderia is not responsible for items left unattended in the facility.

1.4 Payment

Payment is due at the time of service for self-service. For drop-off services, payment is collected upon pickup. We accept cash and major credit/debit cards. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

1.5 Limitation of Liability

Universal Lavanderia is not liable for damage resulting from inherent garment defects, pre-existing damage, or improper care label information provided by the manufacturer. Our maximum liability for any lost or damaged item is limited to ten (10) times the cleaning charge for that item. We are not responsible for consequential, incidental, or special damages.

1.6 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2.1 Program Description

Universal Lavanderia operates an SMS messaging program to send customers promotional offers, special discounts, service updates, and business announcements ("SMS Program"). Messages are sent from our business phone number or short code.

2.2 How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Universal Lavanderia by:

• Providing your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our contact form or in-store sign-up sheet.
• Texting a designated keyword (e.g., JOIN) to our SMS number.
• Verbally or in writing consenting to receive messages at our location.

2.3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You can expect to receive approximately 2–4 messages per month, which may include:

• Service updates or hours changes
• Order-ready notifications (drop-off service)

2.4 How to Opt Out

You may cancel your SMS subscription at any time. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any text message from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive further messages unless you opt back in.

2.6 Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Universal Lavanderia is not responsible for any charges incurred from your wireless carrier. Check with your carrier for details about your plan.

2.7 Supported Carriers

Our SMS program supports all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

2.8 No Purchase Required

No purchase is required to participate in our SMS program. Opting in to SMS messages does not obligate you to purchase any service from Universal Lavanderia.

When you use our services or sign up for our SMS program, we may collect the following information:
